Top quality, best we’ve ever stayed in and a fantastic base for a short break .

The property is everything it promises and more! It is beautifully laid out, spotlessly clean, and has absolutely everything you could possibly need for a short-term stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the layout of the property is simply perfect.The sofas deserve a special mention too — they are exceptionally comfortable! I practically had to drag my friend off them at the end of our stay!Laura, the host, is wonderful. She is incredibly quick to respond to any questions or requests and goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need.The village itself is beyond expectations, with a fantastic selection of pubs, restaurants, and places to enjoy. There is such a lovely atmosphere, and everything you could want is right on your doorstep.Honestly, if you have the opportunity to stay at this property, take it! You will absolutely love it and, like us, will be very sad when it’s time to leave.We couldn’t recommend it highly enough.Debbie

Gem Positive: Lovely village with all the shops, pubs, eateries you could want, great location very private and quiet even though its above a restaurant. Parking spot on, very clean and comfy, stylish place and stocked up with brekki and snacks. Negative: Nothing.

Luxurious stay in an ideal location,honestly cannot recommend enough Positive: This apartment (1) was amazing, so well thought out, the quality is of the highest level. We’ve stayed in lots of nice places all around the county and this is without a doubt the best one yet! Laura is very responsive , the instructions are very clear. I highly recommend booking. The cafe/bistro downstairs was not too noisy and once up in the mezzanine bedroom you cannot hear anything at all. Lovely to have air con- very easy to use. Location is perfect too, about 5 mins walk to the Sherwood Forest visitor centre. Will 100% book again in the future! Negative: We had to leave it and go home!

Positive: Great location, convenient parking and spotlessly clean. Great communication from the owners. Negative: Its above a bar which can be noisy at the weekends
